Improve barrier performance, fit and fabric comfort in single-use medical applications

Medical nonwovens grades provide excellent barrier properties, cotton-like fabric performance and good fit in cost-effective, single-use applications, including:
- Surgical drapes and gowns
- Face masks
- Shoe covers
- Disposable bedding and hospital apparel
- Sponges, pads and wraps and filtration media
Meltblown solutions
Gain outstanding barrier performance with peroxide-free, metallocene-based Achieve™ 6936G1 resin
. Low extractables, an ultra-high melt flow rate and narrow molecular weight distribution contribute to clean, efficient fabric processing.
Spunbond solutions
Industry workhorse. ExxonMobil™ PP3155 polypropylene resin
is particularly suited for excellent spinning with uniformity and consistency to enable robust operations for high-quality fabrics.
High strength. Metallocene-based Achieve™ 3854 resin allows uniform production of fabrics with higher strength and finer fibers.
Softness. For cotton-like softness, excellent drapability and good abrasion resistance with the convenience of spunbond processing, consider ExxonMobil SFT polypropylene resin. It’s excellent for adding a soft feel to nonwovens.
Innovative possibilities for Polypropylene nonwovens
Vistamaxx™ propylene-based elastomers
introduce new possibilities for incorporating elasticity or extensibility for improved fit and comfort into soft and drapable polypropylene-based medical nonwovens.
