We market a variety of petrochemicals throughout China, including polyolefins, synthetic rubber and aromatics for polyester production. ExxonMobil is one of the largest importers of these products into the country. Our premium products, from metallocene polyethylene and polypropylene, to high-performance specialty elastomers and advanced battery separator film, are meeting the growing needs of customers for a wide range of new and innovative market applications.
ExxonMobil's investments in China include the integrated world-scale refining and chemical complex in Fujian Province, a joint venture between ExxonMobil, Sinopec, Fujian Province and Saudi Aramco.
| In addition, we have a wholly owned plasticizer plant in Panyu, Guangdong Province, and a joint venture in Jinshan, Shanghai, with Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited to manufacture adhesive resins.
