Oxygenated Fluids Applications

There are many uses for ExxonMobil oxygenated fluids. Among the traditional
applications are coatings, ag chemicals and consumer products. Our research
into new end uses shows these products could have uses in automotive
chemicals, extractive processes, inks, adhesives, metal plating, defoamers,
fragrances and pharmaceuticals.

Agricultural Applications

Oxygenated fluids are versatile are inert solvents easily adapted to a wide
range of ag formulations. Their high solvency resembles that of aromatics but
offer higher polarity. And, with stronger hydrogen bonding capabilities, they
provide compatible solvency for selected active ingredients. They also offer
volatility control, advantaged low-temperature properties, low water
miscibility, low phytotoxicity and are highly emulsifiable.
