range of applications for fibers, fabrics and nonwovens processors.
Nonwovens
For more than 30 years, ExxonMobil Chemical has provided
innovative solutions for nonwovens processors and their customers. For
spunbond applications, we have a range of resins including Achieve propylene
polymers and Vistamaxx specialty elastomers available to give you both fabric
and processing advantages. We also offer ultra high melt flow rate products
with high barrier performance for meltblown applications.
Fibers & Fabrics

Our consistent products process well at high speeds for such applications as
cordage, netting, woven bags and outdoor apparel. Careful tailoring of polymer
properties makes ExxonMobil polypropylenes excellent choices for

slit film tapes as well. And our resins are also very well suited for
high-speed processing of moderate to high tenacity continuous filament yarns.

| | | Polypropylene
Polypropylene yarns and fabrics perform well in a broad range of fiber and
textile applications including cordage, netting, and woven bags. For fabrics,
polypropylene provides moisture wicking properties for added comfort in
outdoor apparel.
Vistamaxx Specialty Elastomers

Vistamaxx specialty elastomers can be easily processed on fiber and nonwoven
operations similar to polypropylene. Fiber made with Vistamaxx reaches
elongation higher than 350 percent, for applications
|

requiring great elasticity. Fabrics can be made with Vistamaxx at various
basis weights for diversity and variety of applications.
